While climbing the ladder to make sure that all the Christmas light bulbs were going to work again this year I saw our best view! And only had to replace 4 bulbs. Tonight a few parts of me are stiff from the ladder. Makes me think that I should climb the ladder every day!

I can't believe how quickly the weather has changed. Just a couple of weeks ago we were basking in the warm sun and now it has become much colder, the snow is halfway down the mountain and I am wondering if I will be able to get my snow tires put on before there is snow on the roads down here in the valley. This first photo is from the window with the thermometer strategically included. Then later in the day the sun broke through and while it didn't warm us up very much, made for some nice photographic contrasts.
